IT management of a Europe-wide CSD transformation programme

As part of a strategic plan to become a leading player in the post-trade sector, a market operator has launched a multi-year programme aimed at consolidating several CSDs onto a shared technology platform and harmonising a previously fragmented model. Colombus Consulting is supporting the IT Department in managing the programme: improving ways of working, structuring workload management, harmonising estimation methods, supporting project managers and coordinating international teams. Results: enhanced management, more reliable estimates and better coordination of IT teams.

Definition and implementation of the target operating model as part of the acquisition of a European stock exchange

As part of an integration programme aimed at achieving significant cost synergies, Colombus Consulting supported the HR Department and the steering committee in securing the target operational model: structuring the methodology, identifying and quantifying synergies, assessing risks, preparing and facilitating workshops with senior management from both entities, developing tools and ensuring data reliability, and producing monitoring reports. The project helped to strengthen the programme’s governance, steer the path towards synergies across multiple countries, and ensure the successful implementation of the model.
